The proposal included an infill and rear extension to this four bedroom house within the Graham and Mapledene Conservation area.
The extension forms a butterfly shaped roof and is clad with different widths of Scottish larch. The new windows and doors are made out of oak.
The layout of the Ground floor was reimagined; a new large opening to the Dining room changed the flow of the room which access the new living room at the rear and the existing kitchen.
A new stair throughout the house was designed and installed as the existing was unfortunately not salvageable. The pine whitewashed steps are combined successfully with the oak spindles and balustrade.
An en-suite with Zellige and reclaimed slate floor tiles was the addition to the now reformed Guest Bedroom.
